In the frame of the press event Hofstetter Kurt (concept and media artist, Director of the Sunpendulum project) handed over his Facing Time-Eye artwork to Wilson. G. Hess, President of the College of the Marshall Islands / CMI (left);
On the occasion of the permanent installation of the final Sunpendulum Time-Eye, the Time-Eye of the Marshall Islands, at the College of the Marshall Islands - CMI Uliga Campus a "Closing of the Circle" event was inaugurated  by a Sunpendulum press event.

The press event was held in English and took approximately 2 hours.

Following the press conference dignitaries of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, CMI-staff and -students joined a great Sunpendulum reception at CMI-Uliga Campus in the evening, where in-depth presentations were provided. With support of the Austrian National Tourist Office this reception was organized by CMI which allowed us to build on our relations with the College as well as the Republic of the Marshall Islands at the highest level. A special program of experimental art videos by Barbara Doser and Hofstetter Kurt - PARALLEL MEDIA - closed the official part of the "Sunpendulum - Closing the Circle" celebration at Majuro.

The Time-Eye of the Marshall Islands is a media art installation by Hofstetter Kurt realized in close cooperation with the Institute of Computer Graphics and Algorithms / Vienna University of Technology and the College of the Marshall Islands / CMI.
