X-tense image: "C-moons" by Hofstetter Kurt media installation, 2005 C-moons is based on an image composed in grayscale format and regenerated by the 'c light pendula' concept using the image stream of the Sunpendulum Time-Eye of X-tense regeneration: 0. a given image in gray scale format; 1. all 100% black pixels of that image are replaced by the pixels of the selected Time-Eye's image streaming the sky from the respective time zone; 2. all 100% white (i.e. 0% black) pixels of that image are replaced by the pixels of the complementary Time-Eye's image (12 hours distant) streaming the sky from the complementary time zone; 3. all gray pixels of that image, defined as a percentage of black and white, are replaced and generated by overlapping - according to that percentage - pixels of the Time Eye's stream with pixels of its complementary Time-Eye stream. |
