The fact that acrylic paint becomes
an object, even though acrylic paint
is used for painting, that the paint
is not applied flat on a canvas but
protrudes into space, gives it an
unforeseen dimensionality and
physical presence.
It is an aggregate and meaning
transformation. The medium of color
with the property of transporting
coded information itself becomes
information as a hardened object.
A metaphor for the transformation of
ideas and concepts into materialized
works of art, a deposit, a valuable
legacy.
